Impassioned Music – Distinguished Artists

Excitement for our new concert season is mounting! MCMO brings the world of classical chamber music to Montgomery. These four groups concertize regularly in the world’s greatest music halls. Now hear them in Montgomery!!

This season’s brilliant roster of artists will present works from time honored repertoire to innovative contemporary compositions. The opening concert features the precision ensemble playing of the Fry Street Quartet with legendary pianist Robert McDonald. The November matinee concert with the returning Amelia Piano Trio promises to soar with dynamic melodic color. The Orion Quartet returns in its 25th Anniversary season to delight our audience with their impeccable musical nuances and stunning technical articulation. The Modigliani Quartet from France is new to our series. This quartet brings a fresh and impassioned depth of expression to their music.

Our 51st season presents a Trifecta of Music, Food and Art! From our opening reception with the artists to our 2nd Annual Tailgate Luncheon preceding the November matinee, you won’t want to miss these exciting events! High Tea in the Rotunda will be served following the March concert by the distinguished Orion Quartet. MCMO is thrilled to present this captivating season for our subscribers and friends in Montgomery and the River Region.
