The rich history of musical excellence MCMO enjoys today is rooted in great music and exciting musicians combining to make uniquely memorable performances.

The opening concert by Performers of Westchester will include a former Violin Fellow of the Montgomery Symphony Orchestra, Andy Simionescu. He will be joined by his wife, Pamela Frank, and four other distinguished musicians. The Berlin-based Kuss Quartett is firmly established in the elite of string quartets today. Joining the Kuss Quartett is Jon Nakamatsu, 1997 Gold Medalist of the Van Cliburn Piano Competition. The musicians of the young and vibrant Kontras Quartet come from four different parts of the world bringing with them interesting repertoire. Lastly, the Escher Quartet with Jason Vieaux, guitar will close the season collaborating extensively throughout the evening with a breathtakingly beautiful program.
